Digital Camera to capture image layers; Adobe Photoshop to manipulate/merge/blend layers.
Inspiration: I've always been inspired the most by surrealist works of art; my primary influences are Esao Andrews (painting) and Jerry Uelsmann (photography), and I continually aspire to emulate their respective styles. When it comes to my own photography, I try to investigate the abstract by distorting and blending imagery of people, landscapes, and textures—organic and otherwise. The photos I've included here explore the theme of change through their focus on parents, children, aging, and seasons.
