Inspiration: Kali-Jayi is a newly married girl. Her husband's home was across the river and, after marriage, her father was to take her in his boat to the other side. Midway across, their boat collapsed and Kali-Jayi drowned while her father was saved. Since then, her ghost takes care of the boats that cross the river preventing them from drowning. Locals began to worship her.
