Hope Floats

Inspiration: I am inspired by many artists, but the main ones I really look at are Sandra Boynton (the creator of the pig I call Bob) and Charles Shultz. This piece was inspired by Snoopy’s desire to take flight from his dog house, in the same way that the old man and young kid were able to float in the film, Up. In my artwork, I wanted to show Bob feeling free and hopeful while he’s up in the sky, floating with heart shaped balloons.
