Inspiration: I started getting into collage in my senior year of high school during an art class. I was a high school senior in a beginner’s art class. I have recently returned to collage for my own outlet of expression. I love that I can take photos, magazine, etc. that were sitting around and upcycle them to make something new. There is something rewarding about “makin’ something outta’ nothin’ ” since quarantine I have been making some truly strange collages that make me laugh which has been really important to me.
